Yaan Wellness Spa is at the top of my list of places to go/things to do in Tulum. Why? Because they have incorporated traditional healing methods and sounds with modern day treatments and made them into a seriously different experience. They immerse you into the elements of fire, air, water, and wood making you feel completely at peace.
Treatments that are highly recommended are:
The moon temezcal, where a group goes into a sweat lodge which is supposed to cleanse you and deeply heal you, both mentally and physically.
I had a lymphatic drainage massage mixed with a cacao body mask, and wow it was so good. Really not one to miss. I left feeling so relaxed especially after a crazy 2 weeks in Tulum. Definitely the best way to end a trip.
The Deep tissue massage is also supposed to be fantastic.
There is also a shorter more quick fix to relaxing if you don’t have 2 or 3 hours to spare, ask to do the water healing circuit, where one of the sweetest ladies takes you through their, steam room, sauna, ice pool, and other little surprises along the way. Very relaxing and re starts the body after a long night out.
